The fun starts here kids...oh boy. Bring together some ex-DHR cohorts, some Aaliyah, some Destiny's, some RZA some 2-step and a mashed up Girls on Top aesthetic and this is what you get.
Tracks come from Something J, Society Suckers, DJ/Rupture, Din-ST, Geroyche,Black Jewish Gays, and more.
Impossible to synthesize the jollies on show here, basically seven tracks originating from the ashes of Digital Hardcore, and from more wayward elements of the Lux Nigra roster, sticking it to Destiny's Child, MOP, Aaliyah, Missy and RZA's mighty Ghost Dog in proper style.
With a much tougher, almost dare we say it more hardcore agenda than the Girls On Top, those of you who picked up on the last Warp release from Something J and DJ Maxximus (aka Din-ST) will be partly primed for the deadly potential of this release, sound system domination beckons.
If anything it's closer to the intricate beat homages crafted by Si Begg on his Noodles Discotheque series,
admittedly there's a lot of it about but when it's done with as much attitude and panache as this then get it bought! ...

GEROYCHE pitches and grinds totally over the top forcing the talents to better quit the game, ahhh, and, yes - THE BLACKJEWISHGAYS proving they are really the bunch of genious bitch-ass-nigger motherfuckers they were always believed to be.
if THIS is not kool than i've really got no idea what is!

Dann DJ Rupture aus Barcelona. Der beste DJ der Welt. Ich hab's gesehen, glaubt mir. Er steckt irgendwie alles in seine 4 Minuten und am Ende ist die Bassdrum.
Din-ST, der gerade mit Something J, kommt hier auch noch, auf Warp diese 12" gemacht hat, ist auf den totalen R'n'B Trip und schubbert sich die booty Hosen glänzend.
Thee U.P. (keine Ahnung, echt nicht) legt Missys Freak über Errorsmith. Und es passt.
Dann kommt Something J, der Missys Bitch ein darkes 2Step Flair gibt und da weiter macht, wo er auf Warp aufgehört hatte.
Geroyche killt diesen anderen Klassiker. "I'm a survivor" und so...von wem war das doch gleich. Mit Ravebass und Break ist alles klar.
Schließlich die BlackJewishGays, die mit echtem MC antreten und alles in Schutt und Asche legen. Hier kommt eine unglaublich coole Mini-LP.
Augen auf. Zugreifen.

Dj /rupture seems the only one who allows his patient`s humanity, allowing poor Aaliyah(RIP) resistance to the comp's overall teutonisation project.
His aggressive re-imagining of "we need a resolution" doesn`t so much suck from Aaliyah and Timbaland`s undertow as allows them the melody to choose from a variety of close-cropped, eastern bloc haircuts.

Im Bootleg-Format schon vielfach verwurstet, erfährt Missy Elliots "Get Ur Freak On" durch Thee U.P. eine Transformation in's Viervierteltaktformat samt stressender Sirenensounds.
Auf Seite 2 unterlegt Something J. chart-verdächtige Black Vocals mit Two Step-Beats und einer Bassline, die selbst Dillinja zu Ehre gereicht hätte. 'Mama Taught Me Better Than That', im Original eine glattgeschliffene R'n'B-Nummer von Destiny's Child, wird von Geroyche mit einem dissonanten Breakbeat-Gewitter gekreuzt und mit allerlei eigenartigen Synth-Sounds angereichert. Der letzte Track setzt sich wieder recht kreativ mit einem Eminem-Song auseinander. Dieses Mal ist es 'I am', das von den BlackJewishGays mit einem Streicher-Loop und seltsamen Singsang unterlegt, eine Wendung zum Guten, da Außergewöhnlichen erlebt.
