A1: cut the strings
|
info
Since 1995 ECHORAUSCH (Alexander Hessel and Rico Suchatzki) like to play with most different moods and realise
them in diversified compositions.
From rhythmic-melancholic to experimental sound structures: they search for rhythm in field recordings, strings sunken
in reverbs shove underneat dry Electro beats, shy melodies defy crunchy distorted basses. Their work can hardly be
pigeonholed.
ECHORAUSCH are dark, playful and a bit unwieldy.
Their latest EP, the first release with all new material since the acclaimed album „Different Waves“ on Jetlag, displays
a variety ranging from haunting beatless post-industrial melancholy to that very present 4-to-the-floor track with an
uncomprimising bass.
Suprisingly the lightest of all moods on this ep is being provided by Geroyche who completely overhauls „Cut the
Strings“ and turns its feeling inside out.
6 tracks that, as the german magazine De:Bug put it in its review „weave wonderful nets“ between all those styles and
„deserve to break through to the highest layer of the sky“.

spinnen Echorausch wundervolle Netze.
