about
Profile

Geroyche started out as a cassette dj when he was 12, serving tekkkkno and early rave to the kids. He got into producing at the age of 14 and has released breakcore and abstract electronics on a number of labels.

He got back to his dj roots in 2001, djing mostly IDM/Electronica and Breakcore while also playing live and co-organizing shows regularily. Since 2005 he’s been pioneering Dubstep in Germany with mixsets to download as well as at parties. Nowadays he’s co-organizing the Kode Dubstep party series in Chemitz/Germany, where for instance 16Bit and Akira Kiteshi gave their exclusive Germany debuts, but hasn’t gotten around producing in a while.

Sound bites

"Geroyche comes up with his own sound, lots of high frequencies, broken beats, unusual dark sounds. This must be the future"

"Is Geroyche a complete nihilist or am I imagining things?"

"Geroyche - "None of them matters" I always picture bodybuilders posing down on top of crumbling skyscrapers."
